Steve Jobs promoted it, David Bowie jumped on it, and even former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton were surprised by it. We’re talking about team collaboration, of course, and it’s one of the most powerful strategies there is when it comes to achieving personal and professional wow!
In fact, the ability to work and communicate with others – and as a team – is more important than ever. A recent McKinsey & Company study shows that improved communication and collaboration through social technologies could raise the productivity of interaction workers by 20 to 25 percent.

Expert Advice on Creating Creative Collaboration
Recently, we reached out to the author of an insightful new collaboration book – Creative Conspiracy: The Rules of Breakthrough Collaboration. The author, Professor Leigh Thompson, is the the J. Jay Gerber Professor of Dispute Resolution & Organizations in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Her work has been referenced by NBC News, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, and many others.
Creative Conspiracy provides groundbreaking insight into the world of creative collaboration. In her book, she dispels many commonly held beliefs about creative teams. According to Dr. Thompson, collaboration that is planned and focused on creating new ideas produces excitement and builds a “creative conspiracy” within your team.

Social Collaboration Tool Teambox (now Redbooth) Wins Award for Product of the Year
Everyone loves a winner and well, we here at Redbooth are no different! We were so jazzed to get the notification this week that we won a Best in Biz Awards Silver Award in the Small/Medium Size Business category for Product of the Year.
What’s even more gratifying is that the Best In Biz awards are the only independent business awards judged by members of the press and industry analysts, so a very objective bunch.

Pyrrhic Studios is a startup video game developer focused on mobile apps. Their development team is based out of three different countries, with the closest team members living over 1000 miles from each other. Their biggest challenge – managing their virtual team who are spread across the globe.

The SVBA Awards was created to recognize leading app developers. More importantly, this event is also a platform for assisting the developer community improve their innovations by highlighting new strategies and best practices.
