Please describe the problem or business challenge your company was trying to solve with Redbooth.
Blu Pagoda is a small agency with a big heart. Our sense of teamwork and connection is critical to the work that we do for our amazing clients. I wanted to find a project management tool that could really be the hub for our mostly virtual team—from task assignment and management, to reporting features, to everyday communication and connection. Redbooth has consistently delivered exactly what we needed.

Tell us about your search for a solution.
The solution we were looking for had to be intuitive, robust, and cost efficient. We had looked at other project management tools, but they all seemed to be missing one or two key elements. Some tools allowed for a lot of communication, but not a lot of task management. Some were the exact opposite. A client of ours mentioned Redbooth, so we decided to check it out. What we found was a platform where we could easily on-board new team members so that we could get to work more quickly on client projects and deliverables. Redbooth’s rich feature set and integrations allow us to work efficiently (and happily!).

How did you make the decision to choose Redbooth?
Redbooth met all of our criteria for a project management solution for our agency, but it has been much more than that. With features like conversation spaces, direct messaging, and video chat, Redbooth is truly the hub for our agency. We have the sense of being a closely-knit team, even though some of our team members are on different coasts.

Being an agency business, we are always bringing on freelance creatives for specialized projects. We get them introduced to Redbooth right away. With how intuitive Redbooth is to use, and all of the self-service help and instruction guides, we don’t waste time answering a lot of “how do I” questions. Redbooth allows our whole team to see exactly where they are on their tasks, and what to focus on next.

What specific results and benefits were you able to achieve with Redbooth?

With Redbooth, we’re able to quickly triage any incoming client request. The task list templates are extremely helpful when it comes to workflows—from developing content, such as a blog post, to on-boarding a new client. The reporting features are excellent: we can do load balancing by seeing at-a-glance who has what (and how many) tasks. We can get a weekly status report delivered accurately and quickly.

Keeping our conversations and information in Redbooth instead of in email inboxes has helped us stay focused on project deliverables—in fact some of our team members turn off email during certain portions of the day since they have everything they need to know about a project when using Redbooth. We have been using Redbooth for almost three years, and have found it to be a key component of our success. It is cost-efficient, fully-featured, and the tech support (on those rare occasions when we’ve needed it) has been fantastic.
