Import from Teamwork, Jira and Basecamp

Import tasks from Teamwork
Go to the project in Teamwork and select Project Settings.

Import From Teamwork

  1. Under options on the top right, click on Project Report.
  2. Once your project report has loaded, click on Download PDF to download your tasks.
  3. You can’t import a PDF into Redbooth, but you can convert a PDF to an Excel file by using Adobe Acrobat. Simply open the PDF in Adobe and under the File menu go to Export To. Navigate to the Microsoft Excel Workbook option and click Save.
  4. Select the tasks you would like to import to Redbooth, right click and copy the tasks (import a single column at a time for accurate results).
  5. Go to the workspace in Redbooth where you would like to import tasks, click on Add a task, and right click to paste tasks.

Import tasks from Jira
Go to the project in JIRA that you want to import into Redbooth and navigate to All Issues.

Import from jira

  1. Click on the Export option on the top right and select Export (All fields).
  2. Once the export is complete, open the JIRA.xls file.
  3. Select the tasks you would like to import to Redbooth. Right click and copy the tasks (note: import a single column at a time for accurate results).
  4. Go to the workspace in Redbooth where you would like to import tasks, click on Add a task, and right click to paste tasks

Import tasks from Basecamp
You must be using Basecamp 3 in order to import to Redbooth.

  1. Go to the project in Basecamp that you want to import into Redbooth and navigate to your To-dos.
  2. On the top right, click on Share and follow the option to get a public link.
  3. On the next page, click the option See.
  4. Now, simply select all the tasks and right click to copy.

Import From Basecamp

  1. Go to the workspace in Redbooth where you would like to import tasks.
  2. Click on Add a task and right click to paste the tasks from Basecamp.
