All Redbooth users can create tasks from email. This can be done in two different ways, and allows you to collaborate without even needing to enter your Redbooth account.
Set up Tasks from Email
The first thing that you need to do is check the unique and designated email address for each workspace is. You can do this by entering the workspace settings:
From the example above, when sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, a new task will be created.
Beginning your email with a #command allows you to control the status from email:
- to assign the task to a coworker @username, use #username.
- to mark the task as resolved, use #resolve or #resolved.
To assign a due date, you will need to use one of our plugins:
- Google Chrome users can use Redbooth for Gmail.
- Business plan customers can create tasks from email with Redbooth for Outlook.
Note: If you are having issues with the email, please ensure that you are using the email address associated with your Redbooth account. Any email addresses that are not associated to a Redbooth account will be bounced.
