When you need to illustrate a task with additional information, attach files from your computer or connected file sharing accounts. Redbooth has file storage integrations such as Dropbox and Box.
How to Attach Files to Tasks
- Open up an existing task or create a new task.
- For an existing task, click on the Attach files button under the comment box. For a new task, click on the Attach files button under the task description box.
A menu will pop up allowing you to select or drag files from your computer. Choose your file and click the Attach button.
After the file is successfully attached, just hit the blue Comment button or save the new task.
All documents attached to public tasks will be available in the Files section of the workspace. All workspace participants can view them. You can attach up to 12 files to a task. We strongly recommend that you do not use Redbooth as a file storage system, but rather use one of our excellent integrations. Any file stored in Redbooth will need to be manually exported.
