Required Incoming Email Configuration (On Premise)

Fall 2016 update: Thank you for your interest in Redbooth Private Cloud. While we continue to support current Private Cloud customers, we are no longer taking on new Private Cloud customers. Find out more about Redbooth's standard cloud security ».

The minimum amount of configuration that is needed to enable incoming email is to configure a POP3/IMAPserver.

To do this go into the “Manager” under the “Incoming Email” > “Basic Settings” section and:

  • Select either “POP3” or “IMAP” from the type field.

  • Enter the server host and port in the Host & Port field.

  • Choose whether you need to enable SSL for this host or not.

  • Click “Save” to persist your changes.

Once the configuration has been saved you need to restart Redbooth to apply this change. From this point on there are a number of different configuration modalities that you can choose to configure.

NOTE: Please take into account that at this point Incoming Email is enabled but not activated.
