How to Load Backup in Case of Update Error (On Premise)

Backups are essential for your data security and recovery. We strongly recommend you to back up your data frequently.
If you try to update your Redbooth Private Cloud instance and get an error then please do a rollback and contact customer support
for further information.

Restoring a backup depends on the tool you are using to back up your data.
If you create snapshots from your hypervisor, please refer to its documentation for further instructions.
If you are using the export functionality from Redbooth Private Cloud Manager then follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to your manager by going to https://redbooth.com/help/wp-content//uploads/sites/15/2015/06/External_Services_Calendar_Manager.png
  2. Go to the backups section.
  3. Select the backup you want to restore and click on the restore link.
