Deploying Redbooth as a VM

Redbooth Private Cloud is delivered as an industry standard virtual appliance.

It’s widely supported and portable way to deploy the software. The Redbooth Private Cloud virtual machine is available as an OVA file, a standard virtual machine format supported by VirtualBox, VMware, Red Hat, IBM, Oracle and others.

The hardware requirements for the machine are:

  • Processor: 2 GHz CPU or higher, or virtual equivalent.

  • Memory: 5 Gb of RAM minimum, 8Gb optimal.

  • Disk: 75 Gb or more available space.

  • Operating system: A virtualization environment, like VMware, KVM or HyperV.


NB! Apart from having hardware, which complies with the specifications above, stable Internet connection is required to run Private Cloud VM.
