Using Redbooth From basics to advanced, and everything in between.

Add Members to Redbooth

Collaboration is all about team effort. So, the next step after creating your account is to add members to your Redbooth organization. This will allow you to start interacting and sharing work with your colleagues and clients.

Add Members to Your Organization
You can add several members to your organization in just one action. It takes only seconds to have your entire team in your Redbooth organization.

  1. Click on your profile in the top right and select Manage my organization.
  2. Access the Members section there.
  3. Click on Add multiple members.
  4. You can then enter the email addresses of users.

New members will always be organization participants. However, as you can see above, you can click on the drop-down arrow beside a newly added member to change their role.

Add Members to Workspaces
After you have added a member to your organization, you may want to invite them to some workspaces. You can also add new members to your organization via a workspace.

  1. Enter the desired workspace.
  2. Click on the Members icon across the top bar.

You can also add existing organization members to a workspace by mentioning them in a task or assigning them one. If the person you want to add is not yet a member of your organization, click on the Add multiple members tab and they will automatically be add to both the workspace and your organization as a participant.

Add Clients and External Members to Workspaces
It is common for organizations to deal with clients or contracted workers, who do not need to be invited to the entire organization. To facilitate this, you can add these members as externals to specific workspaces. To do this, we add them the same as we would when adding new members, except we must mark them as externals.

External users do not occupy a paid seat in a subscription and have limited capabilities. They can only interact within the workspaces they have been invited to.

Note that all members will receive an email inviting them to the organization or workspace, regardless of their membership role. They must click on this email link to access the organization or workspace.
