Enterprise consulting company improves their virtual team collaboration with Redbooth

Please describe the problem or business challenge your company was trying to solve with Redbooth. We are a virtual team; our challenge was to keep everything together and have access and awareness of activities. From a form of CRM, right down to project management duties. One of our biggest challenges is how to keep costs low and still bring on contractors, with as small a cost footprint as possible. We have ultimately been very creative in the ways we use the tool and utilize a lot of the templates provided by Redbooth for setting up workspaces from event management to product development.
Tell us about your search for a solution. We began by asking other people what they use and found costs mounting such that we had far too many disparate tools and very little connection. We were an early adopter long before the tool was purchased by Redbooth. In fact, we even did a webinar with the original makers of the tool.
How did you make the decision to choose Redbooth? Redbooth met our needs because of the granularity of permissions and the ability to invite external users. This enabled our contracting business to manage projects with a client and still be able to keep the client information separate. Then we started using the tool internally as it met several of our immediate needs, and provided a space to upload files. The open API was also appealing, and we have looked at other ways we can link it to our existing systems.
What specific results and benefits were you able to achieve with Redbooth? Business continuity, ability to connect on projects virtually and share ideas, HD meetings, chat capability, the private notes that allow for hierarchical controls throughout the organizations and ultimately, collaborative task development and execution. All of these are reasons the tool has served us well in the past and managed to eliminate many of the costs of disparate tools.
